Because the last world cup wasn’t a normal event. Here in France we celebrated in our way, and because i’m DATA Lover, DATA  :), i’ve created a Power BI Dashboard in this occasion by using a beautiful up-to-date Open Dataset of nearly 40,000 international football results from  https://www.kaggle.com/ 

International football results from 1872 to 2018 dataset

This dataset includes 39,669 results of international football matches starting from the very first official match in 1972 up to 2018. The matches range from FIFA World Cup to FIFI Wild Cup to regular friendly matches. The matches are strictly men’s full internationals and the data does not include Olympic Games or matches where at least one of the teams was the nation’s B-team, U-23 or a league select team.

The data is gathered from several sources including but not limited to Wikipedia, fifa.com, rsssf.com and individual football associations’ websites.

Power BI dashboard

The result is a quick Power BI dashboard with 2 pages to tell the international football results history, more than 40.000 score from 1872 to 2017, classified on 2 pages by countries, and by tournaments.
